Why the refrigerator freezer need a temperature sensor?
2015-11-24

Why the refrigerator need a temperature sensor? In the refrigerator freezer, there is an internal temperature sensor known as a thermsitor to regulate the compressor and evaporator fan. If the thermistor operating incorrectly, the freezer could be to cold or too warm, or the compressor fan may cycle on and off more than usual. So the thermistor temperature sensor is the important part for the refrigerator freezer.

Where is the thermistor lacated?

The thermistor is near the freezer’s control board. Look for a cylinder type plastic component with two wires attached to it.
